WO Receipts
... with Backflush Control and Barcoded Labels

This program is an alternative to the standard Sage Line 500 / ERP 1000 WO Completion.
The main benefit comes from the extra control available over the "backflush bins" from which stock is taken.
In particular, if there is not enough in the backflush bin then the system will NOT take items from any other (FIFO) bin, because we think this will ruin your bin control in the main warehouse!

Features:
  • Each component line on the BOM can have a different “Issue Mode” :
    • Backflush from a "backflush bin" only.
    • Backflush from any bin (FIFO as per the standard program).
    • Not backflushed – must be W/O Issued.

  • Therefore there is no need for multiple popup windows asking various questions about each line - a great simplification for the user!

  • The backflush bin can be based on the product, a rule, or set at run-time (which is useful where a production line has its own backflush bin).

  • You choose what happens when there is not enough stock, either :

    • The WO Receipt is not allowed and the whole transaction is stopped.

    • Or the made quantity is "completed" into stock, but the component line is short issued / back-ordered.

  • Early warning system - enter the quantity to receive and the line details change colour if there is not enough stock.
  • For the made product you can define a “completion bin” and a pallet quantity. So the screen could be on the end of a production line, logged onto the current WO and the users just hit the big Completion button when a pallet is finished. (Ideal for use on a touch screen monitor!)

  • Label printing for the made quantity, with barcodes.

Example:

The red line is a warning that the component does not have enough stock in the GG5633 bin, so the backflush would fail for that line unless the WO receipt quantity of 7 is reduced, or some of the 1190 stock is moved from the other bins.

The section at the bottom right shows the date & time of recent WO receipts - a visual help to ensure the users do not do duplicate transactions.
