REP: Reports and Enquiries Pack for Sage ERP 1000 / Line 500
Microsoft SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) is a fantastic way of delivering information to the people making decisions in your business.
REP is a set of screens powered by SSRS, bringing innovative ways of getting key data from your Sage system onto the desktop.
REP has been designed to make access to your Sage data easier than ever before.
Think of it as a set of new enquiries, which can be printed if you wish. Or exported to various formats such as Excel or PDF.
Most contain drill-downs to quickly switch to a more detailed view, without having to write down the code and key it into another menu option.
And all can be added to a schedule for delivery by email to a group of recipients at a specific time.
The pack is available now.

MRP and Supply-Demand
MRP Summary. View
Think of it as Predict Future Stock turned on its side in the style of a pivot table. Therefore many products can be easily viewed at once. Or the report can shrink to show only the "hotspots" where the future stock balance is negative. Considers supply and demand for all warehouses of a given product, although QA warehouses can be excluded on a system key. Features a drill down to PFS. Run it just after Sage MRP processing and use it as an alternative to the standard MRP analysis report. There will be at most 6 lines per product, leading to a much more concise report. The drill to PFS shows the full detail if needed. In this mode the "hotspots" definition changes to include any product that has any MRP recommendations. Predicted stock balance is calculated twice - once including the effect of MRP recommendations, once without to show the underlying problems.
Use it in between MRP runs to view products that have suddenly gone into a negative balance, perhaps because of a stock adjustment or changes to firm orders.
Supplier Forecast / Vendor Schedule for the next 12 months: extend your Sales Forecast or MPS to cover a longer period, run MRP and then use this report to project the future demands per supplier.
PFS. View
A "predict future stock" style screen. Again multi warehouse. With a coloured bar to indicate whether each order is inside the lead time or not. With week numbers, sales order allocations, drill to WO Trial Kit, a 2nd balance column to show the effects of MRP recommendations, and MRP recommendations have colour coding and a human readable description. WO Trial Kit (Single WO). View
Enter a WO number to see whether it can be kitted from stock. Each material line shows a summary of the future supply and demand and has a drill down to PFS in order to easily see who to call to try and bring the supply forward. Takes into account earlier demands for common materials. WO Trial Kit Shortages. As per to WO Trial Kit above, but this is for ALL WOs up to a cut off date. The screen only shows items that can't be kitted, taking into account earlier demands for common materials.
BOM Critical Path. Enter a top level (sales) product and quantity, then expand all levels of the BOM to find the longest cumulative lead time and check stock availability. From which you can estimate a rough-cut promise date for the order.
Purchasing
PO List. View
List all Purchase Orders, open for receipts, open for invoicing or closed, for a supplier or product. Include archived orders. PPV calculation. PO Search. Wildcard search through PO lines - especially useful if you use generic service codes and overtype the PO line long description.
Eg. enter "%safety boots%" to find recent suppliers and prices.PO Pivot. View
Find POs per supplier / product / week in a pivot table style. Drill down to PO List. PO Receipts. A list of recent receipts per PO or product, avoiding the need to pick them out from the Stock History screen. Drill to it from other reports. PPV calculation.
PO Invoices. A list of recently entered POP invoices. Drill to it from other reports.
PO Details Audit - Value Changes. Uses Sage Auditing to track all changes to a PO that have affected the value. Or lines added at zero price.
PO Enquiry. Concise PO information, with drill downs to see the receipt and invoice details.
Supplier Search. View
List all suppliers that match the entered wildcard string. Then drill down to PO List or Supplier Spend etc. Supplier Spend. View
View year on year totals of quantity and value per supplier. Expand to show individual products within the supplier. Supplier Spend by Product. As above but by product with expansion to supplier detail. Find the last supplier or last price etc.
Supplier Forecast / Vendor Schedule. A simplified version of the MRP Summary that can be sent to each supplier and used as a vendor schedule.
Others
Table Row Count. View
Find which Sage data tables have the highest record counts so that you can monitor which tables need archiving. Or run a Sage transaction and use this to see which tables get more / less records - very useful for report writing. Stock Search / Status. View
List all products that match the entered wildcard string. Eg. %RAM% will find all RAMP and FRAME related products. Searches through various fields such as product, descriptions, alpha, supplier info etc. Find a product and click to drill to other reports such as PFS, Stock Batches, Stock History, Stock Audit and PO List. View Stock Status and the other Full Stock Details pages fields with one click. Stock Batches. View stock batches per warehouse / bin for any product. Only shows those batches with Qty > 0. Drill to it from PFS and Stock Search.
Stock History + Time. Regular stock history, and if Auditing added it can show the time of the transaction and the program used. Drill to it from Stock Search.
Stock Audit - Costs. Track changes to standard costs, and the associated change in stock value. Drill to it from Stock Search.
REP Links. Used to present all the reports and their drill downs, but can actually be used as a menus system for the reports.
Report Usage. This tracks who has run which reports in the entire SSRS report server (not just REP screens). Also shows the date/time, whether the run failed or not, the time taken and the parameters.
SO Details Audit - Value Changes. Uses Sage Auditing to track all changes to a Sales Order that have affected the value.
